Is PATRIARCHY natural ??

Hey, everyone. Krishna this side. So there's a new campaign going on as well, which is basically about talking about stuff in more detail and with some seriousness. So I'm going to pick the topic that affects us the most. So I wanted to ask you guys, is patriarchy, which is basically male dominance in the society? Is patriarchy something that we are born with or it's something we learn as we grow up? So please share your views. I will really appreciate that

@MitsuhaMiyamizu

It is no more "natural"

I don't think is patriarchy natural. What it really means is social system where the male is the head of the family and holds undisputed power. The social structures are supposed to be a function of society and its needs. In prehistoric times, men were stronger and so were predominantly the hunters and protectors. Women were the nurse who took care of children and brought them up while taking care of other activities around the home

Hi Krishna So I don't think we are born with patriarchy. It is what we have learned after being born. We have learned it from seeing it or hearing it and we aren't born with anything like we all the positiveness and all the negativeness which we have in ourselves right now. We have learned it all by seeing or hearing it and we have nothing when we are born, nobody has any knowledge when they are born

Not only patriarchy, but I don't think any kind of discrimination like sexism, ableism, carcinom, anything is important because how will we know we are just a kid. It's what society has has taught us and ingrained in us. They have said that men are supposed to be superior and some people do believe it. They just don't put their own heads. That what is the reason. There is no reason. They're just making stuff up at this point

So I completely disagree with this thing that patriarchy is something which we are born with. Patriarchy is chosen by the society, and we are born in that society. And since we have this freedom of choice, so we can even choose to follow this patriarchy and live our life as we actually want

So yes. Hi Krishna. And an interesting and a very important question about patriarchy. So the answer is very obvious. It's as anything else that no, you're not born with it. It's not a trait like it's not a gene or it's not any talent that he is born with. Patriarchy is something that has its roots delve into the society so deep that once a child is born and the upbringing that he is going through, he just gets it from the society right

I'm just telling you that boys go through patriarchy as much as girls do or just say gender bias instead of patriarchy. As women have stereotype, as girls have stereotype, they cannot play sports. You have to wear the color pink. I don't know how that came into existence. You have to do a chores. And same goes for boys. They are not let off easy. You have to be the man of the house. You have to in the livelihood

Just pick it and throw it out the window. So just grab it from its name, then pull it right out of the ground and just throw it in the trash. All right, we can do this and we will do this. The only thing that's required is we have to do this together. Even if one person is pulling it back don't want to plant it again, it will not work

@Krishnaroxs

So, Krishna. Yes, I agree with your point that boys also go through stereotypes, and I kind of did not come across it. And thank you for highlighting that to me because as a girl, you know, you have a tendency to look at issues from my gender perspective more. But yeah, thank you for reading that point. I think that the whole concept of feminism and gender equality comes to this. Right, humans, let live and let live
