I used to be really passionate about Spanish and about learning it and becoming the best I could be at it, but slowly it starts to go away and I feel like the way you were saying you felt like you needed to have a certain title or graduate with a certain degree to feel accepted and stuff. I have always felt like I needed to graduate with that Spanish minor to prove that I can speak Spanish or anything like that

To see that there was more to the picture than just making sure that I chose the right major and got the best grades and went to the best grad school and got the best job and did all the things that I was supposed to do according to society and the school systems and all of that
