Are you living in the future?

article image placeholderUploaded by @kkylaa
I think the most interesting part is when I have all of these thoughts regarding my future, I quickly think back to the young girl in middle school who I once was and even high school, and how I never really had too much concern for my future. I always knew that everything was going to work out the way it is supposed to work out

But it's interesting thinking about, like you said, about covet and just this time in history. I wasn't on social media, on Facebook until my early 20s in college and I guess it was my space. But I wonder too if maybe I don't know if social media is affecting more comparison that's just come in my mind because that's what's happening now with me that I never really had before

I've personally had a very difficult time with my major trying to find an internship and it's like hard to hear all my friends talking about their internship and how amazing it is and all the networks and the connections that they're making where I just like I feel stuck and I'm like comparing myself, trying to figure out what making decisions on how I can try and better my own path. And I think that's where social media and comparing comes into play for me and my peers right now

I can post a link on here. It's called emotional freedom technique. That's what it is. And it can help with so many things. And for me, it helps when I really can't stop myself from spiling into anxiety around anything. So I highly recommend that as well. Thanks for sharing. About the social media LinkedIn comparisons, I'm not really on LinkedIn that much, but definitely Instagram is a big one for me
