A Unique Life

And I would like to talk about my story and how we've overcame and what we still need to do and what you go through daily. I just lost my sister April 9, 2020 during COVID, so I didn't get to say goodbye. I lost her because of drug addiction. Our childhood got the better of her and she turned to drugs to deal with it and gave up on life. So I'm going through that right now, too. But yeah, let's talk

Grew up in a small NWGa town, moved to the city at age 17 leaving years of abuse, a molestation and rape..hear what happened after....

I'm really interested in exploring more of the inner child healing and work. I'm studying drama therapy right now. And that theme of just going back to doing the things that brought you joy and passion as a child, connecting back to that as an adult, I think is so important. So thank you for sharing that. And yeah, I look forward to hearing more

Whenever I meet anyone that's been through childhood trauma, I try to look at them from those eyes because that's the place that they're at. There are so many veins to a person when they become broken from abuse, mentally and physically or sexual. It's like these veins sprout out from inside them. And there's so many different aspects to them and stuff

But yeah. Thank you again for sharing this. I agree that with therapy that it's really helpful, but there's still going to be those moments. And I think for me, my outlook on therapy is that it gives you the tools to then be able to go on with your life and be able for yourself to be able to find the things that help you get through those moments. So I don't really look at therapy as something that you have to constantly be paying somebody to do this

Social work has really opened my eyes to all of those depression, those demons, the things from the past, literally behind the locked door. Thank you for sharing. I'm sorry about your loss, but I'm glad that is getting a tad bit better for you
