Diwali~festival of lights
It is a festival of fun and happiness. People decorate their homes and offices with various lights, cook delicious food, exchange gifts and share happiness. Indian businesses consider the valley the first day of the financial new year. On this festive day courtyards are decorated with colorful rangoli and lambs are lit on the rangoli. People dressed in the new clothes eat delicacies like lamps and as the sun sets they were as crackers. The valley celebrations go on for five days
