Mental Health in College

article image placeholderUploaded by @kenzie
Hey, everyone. Today I wanted to visit a topic that's a little bit more serious and that is mental health in College. And I kind of wanted to address some of the things that I've seen happening around my campus with certain people in particular, and then just, like, in a more general and broad sense, and then also get your feedback on either your own personal experiences, if you feel comfortable sharing them, or just what you've seen around your school in general

I share my own experiences and what I’ve seen happen to others around me.

So I kind of struggled my way through it was more like you start doing an assignment and then you stop doing it and you have to get up and go take a break for a few minutes and then come back and do it again and then break and go do it again. And of course, you didn't really have much social interaction with anybody else because if somebody with Add, you're very easily distracted from things. So you want to be in a place that's all by yourself

There really aren't enough resources in College. For example, when my wife had trouble with bipolar depression while she was in College, we went to student services for help. And what we found out was they have three, maybe four counselors to go amongst about 3000 students. And so whenever they thought you were okay, they quit meeting with you and kind of just shoved you out the door because they had so many people pulling on them

Thank you for posting this topic. I am still in school. I'm working on my second bachelor's and I just remember, like, my first degree think mental health in College can be hard because usually people's mental health things kind of start to surface around your late teens, early twenties

Sometimes you have to go back to the memory Lane and speak stuff out again and again at a point till you reach when nothing else is left in your heart and you finally feel free. Okay. Thank you, Kenzie, for tagging me or inviting me. I mean, in this way. I hope you do that in the future as well. We will talk about mental health, and I'll tag you as well. Invite you. Why am I tagging again and again?
