Ski Culture: Stigma Around Used Gear?
It's such a certain class of people. This is kind of noticeable, kind of crazy. And you do walk around and you see people in like $500 ski suits and the latest style of skis and boots. And there was a lot of money there. And one of my favorite people, they're so into skiing with really outdated gear, and they're an excellent skier

So that hasn't made them very happy. But now it's definitely a privileged sport. But honestly, a lot of people in Boulder who grew up skiing and amazing skiers, they all get their stuff from Goodwill or have had the same jacket for ten years. And that's just how they do it and I love it. You can't can get so many good options from second hand places. So you can definitely make skiing a little more affordable, especially if you do it a lot
