Values of Mehndi in Indian Culture

article image placeholderUploaded by @KavyaNagarajan
Many elaborate rituals were built around the practice of acclaimed Mahandi to the skin. The traditional Mahandi uses a paste made from the crushed hena leaves a natural to create designs on the skin usually encircle around the fingers and inner arms. While modern Mahandy uses plenty of designs with plenty of chemicals. When they had been a part of different traditions and practiced as in fashioning times, during wedding celebrations and even at the time of festivals Mahani always come into play

So it was kind of a teamwork and I always feel a lot of activities like Mahendi in our traditional festivities are connected to team building for women as women were the backbone in the families and it was important that they remain connected. So these festivals, these activities, including Mandy pudding and all the other things help to bring out that bonding between the ladies, especially Madrid in law and all those things

Yes, of course. Mira. This mahindi have its own traditional values. That it definitely reduced the body temperature. And one thing I need to add into these is not only the women but also men can also have Mahandy. There is no no need of any gender stereotype. Right? But the major complaint we do put forward is that we don't have enough time. As in this first world, we always planning towards something or someone. Right?
