Since the cartoons may or may not contain words, or in short, they require the audience to have background knowledge about the political subject matter. The political cartoon also helps us to spread information about the current events while allowing our society to develop critical opinions so they respond to contemporaries events and politics. The arts take on political as well as the social dimensions, becoming themselves a focus of controversy and even a force of political as well as the social change

And of course it is also as a parody, as a fun, also to spoof basically to give a shot to the current thing in form of an artwork. Of course, that is also something it's not needed or required, but of course it's part of the art only, of course. So that is not the wrong thing
