What’s your favourite monument?

Hey, swell. India is a land of heritage, monuments, traditions, and symbols. And when you think of India, the first monument which comes to mind is the Taj Mahal for most people. But there are some certain places which seldom receive attention, mostly because they aren't very convenient to access because of the sheer size of the country. But across the length and breadth of this land, there are hidden jewels which, if discovered, will leave you feeling simply amazed

Hey, Karan, I am sharing the Tipusuldan Fort located at Palakkad, Kerala, the Southern part of India, and I am sharing this because I think it is one of the best places reserved forts in Kerala and it is still very much a part of the daily lives of the locals there because it's a lovely walking track around the Fort, which is used by a lot of walkers joggers in the morning and there is a park for children to play

And it feels very interactive to me, and it feels like it's a living, breathing monument to the joy of these characters and people's engagement with the characters on a physical level, even though these are storybook characters, the monument is so there's just this rubbed out areas where, you know, since 1950s, people have touched it and loved it and hung out with it and wondered around it. I love the idea of it being impacted in a positive way, I think by the visitors
