France Proposes a New Law pushing for Influencer Transparency

If you want them to pay for you to advertise or promote whatever product or whatever service you do, if you want to be paid for those things, and if you want them to boost your following and share your videos and all these different things, I believe that you owe your audience full transparency. I'm not saying you have to come on camera, just look at a hot mess all the time, but I believe that our makeup and everything should be reasonable

Me. Wow. So that's a very interesting law. That's very interesting. So my reply might be a two parter because this is really good. First, I'm like, wow, I'm happy on one hand because I was just thinking today about Clubhouse. And even this app is probably along the same lines because it's audio, so we don't know really who we're talking to. And people can post any picture and people can say anything, right?

Even with them banning or talking about banning TikTok, and I actually think that's a great thing, but I still think, okay, why do you want to be in TikTok? It's something deeper than, our kids are spending their life away on TikTok. It's got to be something deeper than, like it's got to be some money trail, if you ask me. But yeah, so that's a great law to even propose and great conversation. Once again

Say I go to Dr. Ange, my plastic surgeon, and I have a tummy tuck, and I am in a partnership with Dr. Ange's practice to promote them and to get them more business by talking about my tummy tuck on camera. They're paying me you guys are paying me to talk about my tummy tuck on camera so that I can bring more business to your practice. They're trying to prevent that stuff
