Favorite poetry line

What is your favorite line from a poem? There are way too many to consider, but if I had to pick one, I think that it would be probably every day you play with the light of the universe. Your turn

And the time will come when with Elation, you will greet yourself, arriving at your own door, in your own mirror. And each will smile at the others. Welcome

Thanks for putting this out there for people to respond to because I love poetry and I love meditating on my favorite lines. When I was 17, I discovered the love song of J. Alfred Pro Frock by TS Elliott. And it's hard to pick a favorite line from it. But something that stood out to me every night was I would listen to it every night because I wanted to memorize it. And it's long

I read The Bell Jar a long time ago, but when I read it, I had started my own little book of poetry that has my poems and also I guess some words that I connected with from that and other poets and books. So I posted a picture on well, but yeah, first I had looked up online because I was like, what poetry book is this from? I couldn't remember. And then when I put the quote in online, I saw that it was The Bell Jar

I found this book on online. I didn't even know James Baldwin wrote poetry. And there's some that are a little it's a little hard to read, I think, as a white person. But this one, it literally just got stuck in my head for months and I still think about it

He describing this weather does of irony predicting that in the future he'll tell people that he took the road less traveled and that made all the difference, even though he didn't because it will present him in a better light. This reflects the idea when he lost back on his life from the perspective of the voltage he might try to justify the choices he made and make out the choice he to follow and conventional path even though at the time he knew full well that he didn't

Great topic. I want to say good morning. First time I heard one of your posts. I write poetry and I have so many f so, so many favorite lines, but one of my most routine lines. And I write poetry with my heart. I try. You can use that for everything. Everything that you do say. Use your heart for so many things. So once again with my heart. Take care. Have a great day. Day
