The great french fry debate!

article image placeholderUploaded by @JordanTepper
Because there's a lot of different types of tater tots, too. Then there's so many types of things, I think. Then there's waffle house hash browns. Is a hash brown a fry? Is it just like a million little fries put together? Let's start this greet fry debate. Personally, I do not like a steak fry. I think it is too potatoey, too thick. I think that like, say like Red Robin

What is your favorite style of french fry? #food #fun #askswell

Crinkle cut is King!

A crinkle cut fry does fairly well in an air fryer, too. Air fry is not the same as an oil fry, but for a compromise, a crinkle cut fry holds up very well. The next would be a steak fry, because I like potato. But if you can get a crinkle cut steak fry, the elusive crinkle cut steak fry, it does exist. Well, it did exist at one of our local seafood restaurants. Forget their fish. Forget the shrimp, forget the lobster

Auntie Ange, if we ever meet in person, we need you share a basket of greet tater tots because I think you'll be swayed the other way. Ding, ding, ding

It's. Hi, Jordan. So, yes, I do stand corrected. So, tater tots still are not french fries. However, a standalone tot is disgusting. But you are correct. The tops are perfect for doing your loaded fries. Perfect. I'm thinking chili topping, melted cheese if you want to put onions and jalapenos. Yes, a tater tot is perfect for that. Still don't think it belongs in the french fry debate

Okay, fair enough. Let's remove tater tots out of the French fry debate, because they are not tater tot fries. They are tater tots, not french fries, so yeah, I agree. Let's take them out. And I never thought about putting tater tots in chili. I that's a really good idea

Thanks. Thank you so much for your input. You're right. If you have a thick, the thicker the fry, the more the danger. You have to cook it to be undercooked, to be overcooked. Yeah, I don't really like steak fries with you there

I will say when it comes down to what I want my fry seasoned with, I don't know if there's a bojangles where you are, but their seasoning is like cajun style. Seasoning is absolutely delicious. Now that seasoning, and I've actually bought the seasoning because they now sell it because people like me were driving through ordering fries and then saying pour seasoning in a bag or something or a cup. And I would keep it in my seasoning cabinet like it was seasoning

Waffle fries rule!

It's. Okay, so, I love all the fries, but my all time fave are waffle fries. I will kill some waffle fries from Chickfila. I will eat a whole entire bucket of waffle fries from Chickfila. My least favorite kind of fry would be, like, shoestring fries. Like the really skinny fries. Those are the ones I don't like. But Chickfila fries are the best. Top notch on all of them, followed by McDonald's. McDonald's
