Some of the freshest, best rock, especially hailing from the UK, was coming out of this really well curated podcast. But anyway, so I'm still grateful because I came away a big fan of Twilight Sad. Their music can be described as post rock. It has a lot of elements of rock. They have an album that's very industrial and has synthesizers and is very inspired by craft work. It's quite Gothic in many ways and very shoegazing, very emotive

Frampton Comes Alive & Toto IV

Jessica, what a great story. I love love hearing your enthusiasm, and I could tell how much it means to you. And I really appreciate how your swells just sort of inspire others, other people to think about experiences that they've had in these moments that have made them smile

Ozzy Osbourne and Ronnie James Dio

And then the other couple of items I wanted to share. I actually did not have the pleasure of meeting either of these people, one of whom is no longer with us. My uncle is a lighting designer and has been with some pretty big rock bands in his day

Here’s to cool parents! @Taylor

I would have loved to see them live. I don't know how great the vocals are now, but I'd probably still go, of course. And then Ozzy, wow. So awesome. And that's great that there were a bunch of kids there. I just think it's really great when parents promote that enthusiasm for their kids passion and music, regardless of the genre. And it sounds like you have some pretty cool folks. So thanks so much for your shares

that time I was Festival staff

I love these photos, these stories, these memories. I really appreciate the depth of the fandom here, even though I myself am not that deep a rock and roll music, I think I can count the rock and roll concerts I've attended in my lifetime on two hands and still have fingers left over. That being said, I see a lot of live music. It's just not in pop or rock genres. So this T shirt in the photo is from what I consider a bluegrass festival

@Tim

Wow. I remember trying to wrangle it so my dad could see John Prine before he passed, but he was too sick. He was a really big fan, and I was always a reluctant fan, but ended up admitting to him how much I loved him. And I actually have bruised Orange on its way. Right now, I finally got it down to a price that I wanted to order it on LP next to my record player is in spite of ourselves. So some really cool connections there
