They said jazz like Stardust, had more than enough magic to meld every soul. Jazz basically crownless, not particularly icon oriented, uninterested in statues and monuments doesn't stop and bask

And jazz is such a conversation. That because I'm not a jazz musician, I just feel always in awe that I could listen to it and eavesdrop into the sometimes what feels like just the coffiny, the euphoria, the sense of, like, I got you. I'm going to respond to you. I'm going to be there when you end your note. I'm going to pick it up. And there's a craziness to it that is so exciting and depth that's so meaningful

Deborah, I thank you so much for these words. They're so generous, and I hope that others that might know, Michael or not that hear this post can hear your lovely reflections. It is so true that music is a bridge and so particularly jazz. I was just wondering while I was doing the dishes a few moments ago what it is about jazz that's so transporting because, of course, music transports us to other genres
