Spiritualized and the Cost of Vinyl Collecting
If you're new to vinyl collecting, because I know there's a new generation that didn't grow up listening to vinyl, but are acquiring that taste. Now, how do you feel to me? The sound of music coming out of a computer or a CD is very tinned and inauthentic. Really, I'm a bit of a purist. I want the pops and ticks. I want to hear the depth of it in my body. Of course, after cranking out loud with hearing protection

Well from you. Until recently, I definitely was more of a vinyl collecting because I do think the listening experience is much better with vinyl. I really enjoy it. I love the physicality of it. I love the like holding a record in my hands and having to flip it over all of that stuff. But before I started traveling, I sold all my records. It was hard. It was really uncomfortable

Hi, Bowie. Thanks for the reply. That's so cool that you love Let It Come down for me. That was the album that made the band really gel for me. I had listened to Pure Phase, especially in and Ladies and gentlemen, we are floating in space, but that really got its hooks in me. And I saw them for that tour and they were pressing vinyl then when bands were starting to just do it by default, not as like a novelty thing
