Greetings. Twelve verse is Jessica McMillan with Suzanne Vegas Tom's Diner a classic. And I'm just thinking of diner songs, restaurant songs, songs played at restaurants and diners. And it's really cheering me up. I just came back from my fabulous local sandwich shop with a soup and sandwich. And it's little things like that even during a pandemic that make me happy. So I started thinking, Well, what are some songs about food? What are some songs about diners?

I like food. Always a classic. One of these songs I enjoy about Dining Out is from Louis Jordan and the Timpani Five. I'm guessing this goes all the way back to the 19. The song is Hungry man

Hi, Tim. I'm sorry I didn't catch this one, but the timing is perfect because I've just sort of wound up all of the little things I had to do before I could just ease into the weekend. And I just played this song, and I grew to it with my daughter. And now I'm trying to decide between, like, Chop Suey clams or lobster. I love it. It's fantastic. I've never heard it before. It's super catchy

I feel like and I could be wrong. I'm probably wrong. But we're known for one of the places in the US with many diners, every kind of diner, like a very dive bar kind of diner, like, very kind of, like, low class tour diner. I hate to use the word class, but you know what I mean?

Hi PK. Thank you. This is a good one. Such a good memory to share and whole culture. Diner culture. I love it so much. There are definitely diners north of the border, but not quite to the extent as there is in the States. It's definitely once I've gone over the border and I'm in Washington, it's one of the first things I love doing is going to diners of all kinds. There are the more country style ones
