Do peace, contentment, even joy have a place at the deathbed? What do you think?
So there's part of me that kind of wants to become a death doula, because I feel like that's one of the things our culture does particularly poorly. And the thing that I was thinking is, though, do I want to spend that much time in a culture of grief? Is, honestly, if I were going to be a death doula, I would want to try and bring more joy, more ease, more relaxation, more comfort into the process. Yeah
