What does "mask mandate" really mean?
Hey, everyone, it's me again, Izzy. And today I am sitting down with my husband to have a conversation and reflect upon our recent travel experience. Now, during COVID, and with the fact that COVID-19 is at an all time high in the United States right now, traveling is really scary. To be quite Frank. My husband flew into the United States, and then we drove about 14 hours back up to Canada together, and we drove through the United States

What I saw in the United States was that a lot of place on the road at the military or Remax science, but it's just for the look because so many people still don't wear it and get services from the stores anyways
Thank you for sharing about that. Dylan. I know when we were traveling that I didn't see any sign in the United States that indicated that there was a fee associated with not wearing a mask. So I do not believe that that is a thing in the United States, but it to any of our listeners. Please correct me if I'm wrong or if there are exceptions to that

If you don't wear a mask, if you don't wear a mask going to a store in Canada, you'll stick out like a sore town because you'll be the only one without a mask. All I can say is that those fees are made to minimize is the amount of people that we ask in public
Ohio definitely was where I saw the majority of people not wearing masks. And in New York they were more far and few between. In fact, I actually only think I saw one person not wearing a mask in New York when we stopped. But regardless, my kind of last question for you, Dylan, kind of thinking about your perspective and your experiences as a Canadian coming into the United States and traveling in the United States

I think a lot of those people are confused and afraid of something that they don't know about. In Quebec, this group of people claim that freedom is the most important, which I personally think it's ridiculous to think about your freedom when you can actually do everything you want. You just need to wear a mask and that's it
I think it's really important to have these kind of conversations in order to kind of make these observations about people who don't agree with masks but then still continue to not wear them in public spaces, despite guidelines, despite mask mandates. And I think it's really interesting how in a lot of places right now there aren't mandates and yet still in certain places there are people not wearing them. So why is that?
I'm a dual citizen currently living in Canada. Unfortunately, where I live, there has been a lot of resistance to wearing a mask, but as the number of cases increases, you know, you're starting to see more and more people wear masks. And of course, now there there are the mandates going into place. There are fees attached, but not quite what you're seeing in Quebec, whether that will bite us in the b*** or not. I don't know
