learning languages

article image placeholderUploaded by @isabellacroston
And I think it's true that it is never too late because I know that I want to continue learning more, that I haven't even started yet. And I think once you get your first one down, it kind of feels like something that, you know, you can do, which is just honestly, really inspiring for myself personally. So let me know if you speak other languages or how many languages you speak, and if you are interested in learning more

Hey, that's really dope that. You're really interested in learning new languages. I wish that I was like that I took French for all four years of high school, and I really I don't think I can carry on a conversation bridge, to be honest. My second language is Portuguese because my mom is from Brazil. So I grew up learning that language

I don't know if that's true. It's something my Spanish teacher said. I think it was Portuguese. I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure. But yeah, there's definitely something cool and that you are never too old to start getting into

Hey, not really sure if knowing Spanish makes you 85% fluent. I mean, it could be, but I struggle with Spanish a little bit because my boyfriend's family likes to Spanish and I like, I'll be able to like, would kind of understand like a couple of words here and there, but I don't think I could have a conversation with someone in Spanish. But that's just how I feel towards any other romantic languages like Spanish, French, Italian or whatnot

Okay. It's definitely a different language then, and I just can't remember. I'll have to email him and figure it out because it's gonna make me insane now not being able to remember it. But yeah, I agree about the romantic languages and stuff

But my mom was very adamant about the fact that, which is true, that there are going to be so many more Spanish speakers were growing up in the US. So she was so gung Ho about me taking it. But that's just so funny. I feel like all moms kind of just trying to look out for their kids and make them bilingual. So

Hey Isabella, I think that's so cool that you're sticking with Spanish and yeah, just learning different languages is, I think, so important for me. I'm a sociology major, so just learning about different groups and cultures all around the world and knowing how to communicate with them is, I think, so important. My mom is Turkish and so she speaks fluent Turkish, obviously. But I was never taught Turkish
