glamorizing and romanticizing mental illness and substance abuse

But in my opinion, I believe with both shows, I think that they really just show some realities, and maybe we don't understand them all the way because we don't feel them. But there's someone out there that does. And I think that's really the whole point. And even for your entertainment aside, just focusing on the people that believe that these shows are being romanticized and everyone has their own opinions, of course

Hi Isabella. So I came on to your cast after seeing the image that you have posted of 13 Reasons Why. The topic that you have chosen to speak on has been a very captivating one because this is our actually a kind of a rising concern around romanticizing and glamorizing, the idea of mental wellness and weakness and insanity. So I haven't seen Euphoria, so I'm not confident of how the storyline goes

I completely agree with you, and I love how you mentioned about how when we're just in high school and there's that almost kind of stigma around being so young, what can be that bad ad that you feel like that's what you have to turn to. Of course, everybody copes in different ways, but there are healthy ways to do that

Euphoria and substance abuse

So I feel like it could definitely show both ways. But I'm not sure if younger audiences who see this as more of a fictional world will look at it to inspiration of how they want their life to be. So I've always thought that when I'm watching the show and I want to hear your thoughts about that. Yeah

I do agree with you. I think that euphoria more so than 13 Reasons why kind of does glamorize the whole issue. But also pike, what you said again about how it also can show the bad impacts of substance abuse and stuff, I think that it's almost to show you that that is worse than what you're glamorizing. Obviously, I'm not sure if that's it or anything, but that was kind of my takeaway

I totally agree with your point. I really like what you said, how the show tries to display how even though you might have this glamorous lifestyle that that the drugs and the substance abuse make, it not worth it. I think there's so many examples in the show where the use of substances just make everyone's lives worse. Pike not just the individual who uses them, but everyone around them. It's just like a cascading effect
