I'm in the way it balances romance and spectacle and of the way it finds terrific character roles for actors like Michael Rooker from The Suicide Squad and The Walking Dead. And I'm in awe of just the way it is at once very much an old school throwback to the monster films of Gremlin's, director Joe Dante and kind of the cheaper, more spectacular fantasy monster movies of Roger Corman. It's very much its own thing as well
