Really discussing all those risks and rewards is something I not only enjoy, but I think is a healthy discussion, and that is really the reason I started this open Swell Cast and to discuss anything that might be an investment vehicle. Maybe you have some questions about specific investments because here's a great place to do it. No question is a dumb question. And if you're absolutely confused about anything or have a great idea you want to share. This is the place to do it

Who am I as an investor? @Phil

I know there's basic differences, but what's your perspective and just do me that solid and just give me that distinction. And then I kind of get what it is and that's great. But the second thing is in terms of investing money from someone who just has played around in e trade a little bit, couple of grand here and there, but that's it. And I definitely want to start being smarter about my future

@DBPardes IRA questions

And this is the alternative running a simplified employee pension plan. But like I said, that's done by employers. If you were asking about that, let me know. But I believe you were just asking about the difference between a traditional and Roth IRA. With those two, there are differences between them. The main differences are how your money is taxed when you put money into the IRAs and how that money is taxed when you pull money out of the IRAs

Green funds!

But they will find companies that you might be comfortable in investing in. And I'd be happy to look at some of the performance of some of these funds. I don't know offhand how well they do. But if feeling comfortable at the end of the day is important to you, then just know that there are some investment vehicles out there that will do that for you. And I don't think that's a bad thing at all
