When you think of the last year and how it's gone, I think for me personally, it has been a time of introspection and trying to figure out what means the most to me in terms of, of friendships, in terms of how I view life, in terms of what I want from work and several other questions. Spending time with yourself is something that's been recommended by several mental health practitioners

And this brings me to always I always wonder what does not allow someone to seek help? When I look at it from stigma and taboos and the myths that shroud mental health, I think the first thing is that we are afraid. We are afraid of being labeled, judged. We are afraid of being termed as weak or mentally unstable. And I think because of the lack of actual awareness and knowledge of mental health and mental health illnesses, as an actual neurochemical imbalance

@Dr.Zirak the cost aspect

So a lot of people that I speak to don't go ahead and seek help because they think it's just too expensive and they're not really sure about how to find the right therapist, because there is the idea that you need to find a person who really gels with you or you need to have a decent rapper with the person with your therapist or your psychiatrist. So what would you say I about the cost aspect of mental health care in India

We need to be aware of what our strengths are and what our own shortcomings are. We have to have the right balance in life. The keyword balance, whether it's a balanced diet, balanced time that we spend with our children, with our families, and the kind of balanced approach to discipline with our kids as well. The third most important aspect that helps with resilience building is acceptance, tolerance and adaptability. Right. This is such a powerful message

We as parents to have to realize no one is perfect, no parent is perfect, and no child is ever going to be perfect. But constantly only focusing on what's not and the negatives in them. You're going to start becoming judgmental and then you start becoming a parent that loves conditionally. But for me, there is no ultimate love as unconditional love and no amount of love is enough. So I tell this to all parents
