Is the Supreme Court ruling allowing abortion at 24 weeks for unmarried women a landmark for women’s reproductive rights in India?
Underlining that a distinction in law between a married and an unmarried woman should have no bearing on the right to terminate a pregnancy. The Supreme Court on Thursday allowed an unmarried woman whose relationship state has changed during the pregnancy to terminate her 24 week fetus. Petitioner should not be denied the benefit merely on the ground that she's an unmarried woman, the bench said

Yes, I do agree with you that Supreme Court did a very good job and take stand for married and married woman status for terminating the 24 weeks with us for today. I don't know about these kind of things, and I barely got any news about this on national media. So I can say that the current India is changing at very fast pace due to our President, Prime Minister Nal Modi and our new President. So I hope India will grow and develop. Thanks
