The results of the elections conducted in five States of India Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Manipur and Punjab were declared earlier this month on March 10. The elections, which were seen as crucial in the run up to the loaf of elections in 2024 were dominated by the BJP, which managed to retain power in four States. On the other hand, Punjab was swept by Erwin Keijiwald Amadmi Party. What were the crucial factors which decided the fate of political leaders in these elections?
