This Vegetarian Needs Your Help

I was trying to make, like, tofu teriyaki with, like, white rice and broccoli earlier this week, and it completely blew up in my face. Well, not literally, but it wasn't the greatest. I definitely prefer takeout, but, I mean, they're professionals. I'm just a College student. But if you guys have any vegan or vegetarian recipes that you'd willing to share or any advice that you'd be willing to give me, I would really appreciate that

Because I know when I became vegetarian for breakfast, I'm not the biggest breakfast eater, but for breakfast, I would either eat like whole wheat toast with like almond butter with a side of fruit, or I would eat boiled eggs for like protein with spinach and stuff. Being vegetarian is definitely trying to figure out how to still eat the way you did before, but in a better way. So I hope that was of help. I don't know if that was the most helpful. Helpful

If you get those patties, you can just put whatever else you want in your burger. The second would be some of the sauces that you get, like Thai red Curry sauce or something like that. If you get some of those sauces, then it makes it very easy to make rice in a rice cooker and then just saute whatever it is that you want tofu and whatever else and add the sauces and you get a good Thai red Curry with rice kind of thing. My third favorite would be pizzas

Hey, Imari, I feel you. When I was just out of College and became a vegetarian, I lived on pasta, tomato jar, tomato sauce and English muffin pizzas. Right. English muffin, tomato sauce and a slice of cheese melted under the broiler. That worked with bagels, too. So I'll make two suggestions because I've been a vegetarian off and on for 20 years

Chickpeas, cauliflower wings, and stirfry!

Hey. So I think if you're looking for easier vegetarian meals, chickpeas are a really great thing that you can Cook with. You can just like put like a bunch of vegetables in there and kind of make like a stir Fry type of deal. I really enjoy, like that the vegetable pot stickers from Trader Joe's. And then I will get like white rice and then a bunch of vegetables and they're like stir Fry sauce there. And I'll make that too

Want to eat plant-based and actually enjoy it? Try searching for recipes from Ethiopian, Indian or Thai cuisine OR visit The Mindful Plate YT Channel

And so if you look for some recipes that are like that, then you will find some really satisfying, hearty, delicious meals that are plant based that are not trying to be a fake meat. If you will, like a lot of us recipes, you'll find people using, quote, unquote meat substitutes. But I just find that you can really eat well and incredible food just focusing on plants themselves

Expensive (initially) advice

So it's not like meat, it's not like beans. You have to create it. So I think to me personally, it's one of the harder things if you don't have a knack for it, to master. The way I like to do it. And I think this is a healthier way to start with a vegetarian or vegan diet is to visit some places whose menus are whole food
