Photo Tip #5: Rule of Thirds

article image placeholderUploaded by @IBPStanley
The other two thirds of the frame is where the person is going. Now that's where it plays on our brain because we, as humans, always try to interpret what's happening next. That's how our brains work. So if that person is walking, I need that extra space in the photo to say what's going to happen here what's going to go on next

Good stuff! Thank you!!

So it's really neat when you get into the rule of thirds, it's kind of like whatever happened to putting things in the middle? I guess you just don't because like you said, it's stagnant. I like it. I really do like it. So yeah. Thanks. I mean, I've heard of it like I said, but it's good stuff. Keep it coming. Thank you

When we do break it, there's a lot of brain tricks going on as well. Purposeful brain tricks that we can play on the viewer to putting something right in the center of the photo or far off in a distant corner and having a really empty photo next to it. And that creates really cool stuff as well
