The pictures I have here are friends of mine and work I've done to take portraits of people, and each one of these pictures involved a lot of movement on my part to make that background as clutter free as possible from an actor with a green screen

Oooh! Background…

Ooh background. I never considered that. See, that's why my photos are an absolute disaster. You know, I've got toothpicks sticking through heads. No, I haven't done that one yet. I mean, I don't take that many pictures, but it's good to look at it and see it. So you want a clutter free? Okay, we'll think about that one. Thank you

I honestly think the background is more important than the subject in most photos. It's weird because if you have a cool subject, something that's interesting that'll be interesting anyways. So how do you even make it more interesting thing that you got to put it in the right place, or at least don't let anything distract you from that subject. So, yeah, background is extremely powerful. And that forces you to sort of look beyond what you're taking a picture of. It's cool
