Besides alphanumerics RB srb wss another side to owning a beeper, and that was the voicemail. And just as important as it was to flash that you actually had a beeper at that age was how cool your voice box message was. There was your standard hi, you just reached Honeyvee. Please leave a message after the beep, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you

Eventually, by the time I got old enough to have one, I ended up just getting a cell phone and that was a different story. But everything that you just said and also the audio prop the music, I was back there. I was back in the walking around town. It is amazing. I have thoroughly enjoyed your swell and you're extremely talented. Keep added that's awesome. Definitely following you. And also I saw that you put a hashtag on there about voicemails

And then I would like, they'd say, oh, I'm going to sing back to me, because I took the time to write on a Thursday anyway. You just reminded me of how much I missed that. So it's such a great thing to kind of kick me into the past. Looking forward to more of these voicemail messages. Leave a number and a name after the beep

So listening to this, it was a very pleasant walk, mind you, down memory lane of having my own phone line and with my Vee through phone that I bought from Kmart and having my see through pager. And I also did the same thing with the boom box of doing my voice recording, because you had to have the song and you had to change it up to show that you have the most current song ever. And I was so disappointed to give that up

Those are the days. Of course I had a pager. I put a picture with this post. The ultra express, glacier blue Motorola. That's what I had. I saved my money. Cost me like a dollar nine. Not a dollar nine, honey. Hundred and $9 at Parrot Cellular in Valley. It's not even called that anymore. I'm not even sure what it's called. I think it's cricket now

Okay, so my memory of the nineties is a little bit different than everybody else, which is evidently everybody had a good time. I was a hotel general manager in the late nineties, and I had a pager, and my staff had a habit of 911-91-1911 time. I was a general manager at that hotel. I think I had replaced three of them. I just took a chance on a style that I feel comes a lot more naturally to me, which is a little bit more of a performance than a discussion.
