When Saitama bursted out on the scene, people knew that they needed to compare him to the King of Anim who is none other than Goku to see if Saitama could stand up and one punch his way into the throne. And I think we can all agree it's no longer a gag because of its popularity. It's no longer a joke. Goku is named the Superman of anime. But could One Punch Man steal that name? No Bull crap. We all know this shuts down everything
So as you have asked the question, I would answer that Goku is by far the strongest anime character, the strongest fictional character that I have personally seen and I feel so that Aitama is stronger but Goku is the strongest. And if we compare Goku to some of the leading anime, he can say heroes or characters who have power in comparison to Goku, but still Goku surpasses all of them, irrespective of them being having certain different sort of powers like Indigenous kakash

Hey Sausak. Yeah firstly thanks for you about your point of view upon this. Well I would just add in relating to your points in favor of Gok only so it's strong, but there's no way that he can circumvent immortality with his strength. Well Google can also just ask the Dragon balls for strength related to Saitamas. And yes we have seen this concept of Fish Shakespeare twist in the current Dragon Ball Super manga Ark
