And I respect people's decisions to live their own life, so I kind of sometimes choose not to go to that confident because I feel like I'm just kind of pushing my way of life and it's not fair and might not be comfortable for her, not that she's ever said that, but I just don't want to be overbearing in that department. And I have another friend, and I have a guy friend like you

And at times after those incidents took place, I told her, I said, hey, listen, I appreciate you being authentic and real at the time and not being afraid to say what you want to say or how you truly feel rather than telling me what I want to hear, which is really great. We're still friends now, we still talk. Obviously, things are very busy for myself and her, but she has always remained one true connection for me. Give me 1 second

And you who seek their counsel or their consideration or their feedback from that perspective in vetting out who you're speaking to based on what's of interest or their area of expertise or their area of comfort that makes total sense and is so important in terms of when people are selecting someone as a confidant that they are also considering

And maybe because he was a little bit too honest with her about the dynamics of the history of our friendship, and that added a layer of insecurity with her, even though, like I said, we tried to date each other right after high school. It's been so long ago, and she just couldn't handle that. And then the second wife, he has not been as forthcoming with her about the history of our friendship in terms of those details
