Hello, swell. This is Helen with inspiration by Helen. I know that we are addressing a cause for this week, and the cause that I have been working to advocate for is destigmatizing mental health. So today as I was on LinkedIn, came across an article, and it's from the trauma mental health report that is titled disclosing mental health issues puts applicants at disadvantage. These are applicants for college applications and employment

Lets reflect. Any thoughts? Share your input. #shareacause #mentalhealth #mentalillness #therapy #awareness #mentalhealthawareness #stigma

But I totally see where you're going with this. For people that struggle with health and mental health issues, employment is so hard, and I didn't realize that this would be something that school admissions would have on their applications. So I think it should be really more aware. People should be more aware of it, even not just employers, but maybe even the people you work with currently to understand each other, because sometimes you can come across as unsocial

Thank you for sharing! I still struggle too and the world isn’t ready for us.

But I just wanted to take a moment to tell you thank you for sharing. It is hard, it is a struggle. And I know that I've longed lived amongst the rest that stigmatized mental health. And unfortunately, I was always helpful to others that were undergoing a mental health situation and I felt empathetic and understanding. But when it came to me, I struggled. And as you know, that my story. I struggled to break free. And I'm on that path, definitely
