Is self-help books worth reading?

article image placeholderUploaded by @gungunbansal_
Nobody is perfect and we all have areas where we would like to improve. If you are like most people, you have sometimes wished you could be more patient or more outgoing, more resistance, or less concerned with other things. Maybe you're just looking for ways to be happier. The same study showed that selfhelp books are effective in the treatment of anxiety and depression, but less so in other areas, like alcoholism

But if you're wise and if you're understanding yourself, understanding yourself is like the basic thing. So if you're doing that, I don't think these books are really required, but they do definitely a really different perspective. But apart from that, I think they all revolve around that one simple concept of understanding yourself and believing in yourself. So, yeah, that's basically my take and my point of view. But yeah, great question. Thank you for raising this woman

Hey, Gungun, that was really informative. Thanks for sharing. And I'm also the person who starts the morning with a selfhelp book. So in my experience, selfhelp book helped me a lot. So yes, there is a technique to read selfhelp books. You can't read at one go, you have to read read one thing and then apply in your daily life, then read the other. And this way you can get benefit from the books
