Hey, swell. So I'm walking a class right now and I go the same exact route every single day to this particular class. And even honestly like just to the campus. And it's crazy to me that I've never really known notice like certain things around me on campus because I'm just like walking to go to my destination. I'm not looking around what's around me and all these things. Today I realized that I passed by the main grad school building

And when I'm on my walk to class, like, what a nice opportunity to just be off my phone and kind of have a moment to myself surrounded by all this beautiful nature and so much sunlight and stuff. So I really tried to be better about that. I think it's hard just with phones and like you're walking, you're on your phone, you're texting, Snapchatting, whatever it is. And it's like take a moment to just appreciate everything around you

Ucsb's campus in general is just so beautiful, though, so I always try to make a conscious effort to take it all in because to be honest, one of my biggest fears graduating is that I didn't take enough time to appreciate all that UCSB has to offer. So I need to be better about that. And I'm trying to now
