It's guilt and shame that I shouldn't have to carry because there was nothing I could do when addiction is in play. But this is just one form of grief. It in one form that I hope was healing to walk through there. So I should have posted this yesterday, but I couldn't

And I discovered through my own divorce, even if the two people hate each other or if it's, hey, let's just go our separate ways, so much of our lives is tied to this marriage that when it ends, so many other things die with it. And so it is never just the one thing that leaves. It is all that it takes with it. And I think you explained that so well as you masterfully told the story of your grief

People don't want to talk about a death of a loved one. I feel like who would ever want to hear about the loss of a physical building or whatever? But like I said, it was so much more than a source of income. So I just really wanted to say that I appreciate your response, and it is just a wonderful thing that we can share being human with each other and know that we're not alone.
