And the third one is household challenges. Is growing up in a household with incarceration, mental illness, substance use, parental separation or divorce, or intimate partner balance. So, as many of us know, these ten Aces are not the only kind of adversities children may face. Mayors of children have experienced discrimination, poverty, and racism, and these experiences can have similar impacts as adverse channel experiences

And then I tried to raise them in Church and wherever I went, they had to be with me because I didn't trust anybody in my circle because my mom used to leave us with people that did not like her, but they make it seem like they're there for us. But then me and my siblings wasn't treated. It's doing the work. And I pray for a lot of these young kids

My adult life. Everything in life until my 30s was awful. I was affected in every way. I think like a husk of a person. But I have been seeing a wonderful therapist for the last six years and I am healing. And it's a journey, definitely spiritual journey, like you said. Wow. The things you learn. And yeah. Before I share a little bit about my story, I do want to talk about children

There's a whole thing that children have experienced after hands of an adult who was supposed to be loving and nurturing and God and his children on the right path so they can be successful in life with so many children born into unhealthy environments, with parents that's not sisters, I can't say that word that's on drugs, that's physically abusive, sexually abusive women choosing women, searching for love in all the wrong places and bringing these men into these houses and putting the children that in danger because they're so busy wanting to beloved, not knowing they need help

The quiet scared abused kid.

I definitely agree that children can act out. But I grew up in a very, very violent household. I was less seven. I was raped at 17. I was beaten and mentally and physically abused day after day after day, not only at home, but at school. I was quiet and I was a kind kid and nobody noticed. I still to stay at 48 years old

Despite our hard our hardships, I'm happy to see all of us still here and chatting about it. I do wish it was easier or I wish yeah, I wish it was easier in general just to to find a solution. Because it seems like a lot of adults are just all around in general, afraid of lots of things, afraid of each other, afraid of themselves, and afraid of their children
