Catalytic converter stolen

article image placeholderUploaded by @goatea
Good morning, swell. Just had a question out there for other people. Anyone else have experience with catalytic converters being stolen? Ours was stolen again. So I'm dumb. I didn't put a lock on there, which I should have done or a little protector thing. So it was stolen again. It was right outside our front door. So these thieves are super brazen. Talk to people in other cities in the country and they're having the same problem

Goatee. I'm really sorry to hear this. No, I didn't even know that it could be stolen. So there you go. That's how uninformed I am. Please accept this virtual hug. I really don't know how out to make you feel better. And I hope it just brings a little warmth in a bad day

Hey, what's going on, Michael? Yeah. Sorry to hear about this. I have probably heard the same thing from at least five other people in the last two months. Not necessarily people I know directly, but I've seen it pop up online. Mean, definitely happening more and more often. Sort of wild to think about. I mean, this is not like a new thing, but yeah, very strange

Of course they're making money hand over fist. Right? $3,200. Every time this happens, we don't pay that. Luckily, but we pay $500 for the deductible, but, yeah, they're making so much money coming in, but they should definitely release some kind of fix for this industry wide. It's an epidemic. Anyway, I hope you all have a good day. Bye

So I think we need a neighborhood watch so thieves can actually sell them between $2,200 for the scrap. So I think that's the motivation, especially in our economy today. I'm not defending them at all. I'm just saying I get we're in pain. But listen, I will put on some army boots and a big hat and my slingshot and I'll come by your house because I miss you guys, but I'm so sorry, Mike

Could they do that? Could put a bunch of glitter in the catalytic converter. And then they try to cut it open and they go, poop bunch of glitter something. But yeah, I think people sell them, obviously, for money. There was a go fund me. Org thing to prevent people from selling these things online because you can go to some sites and they're have nothing catalytic converter stolen. So if you could stop that, you could probably stop a lot of the demand

And you're like, Did it happen to me? Yes. I was like, Man, I can't believe it. This is a real thing. Anyway, I'll test the link to the article. It's bizarre. It's really bizarre. And I love the idea of army boots and Slingshot Brigade to protect catalytic converters. That would be a really cool, cool photo essay for me to take and share go team. Com
