In the cult classic film The Warriors, a gang from Coney Island is falsely accused of murder, and they have to make their way back by subway from the Bronx back to Brooklyn, while being pursued by every other street gang in the city. This is not the typical NYC community experience, at least not since 1979. But you don't have to be chased by crews or region maniacs to be in a desperate, adrenaline feud mission to make it home or elsewhere. It could just be Monday

And I, of course, love the area surrounding it, but, yeah, New York doesn't sleep. And you're right, new Yorkers are not nice, but can't be kind if you need them to be. But when it comes down to it, they will be there for you, but not necessarily nice and friendly, whatever the opposite of Southern hospitality is. That's what New York is. But thank you for listening
