Book recommendation for sales & leadership

It's a fable and it's a really quick and easy read, but a great story that puts things into perspective around giving value first and taking an I go first approach in everything you do in life and in business. And when you do that, the returns are abundant for you as well. And so instead of a go getter who is after something, who is taking sometimes coming from that type of an energy, it's okay to be goal oriented, right?

Who Moved My Cheese? by Dr. Spencer Johnson

Hi Amy, it was so great to discover your swell cast today. I love all kinds of book recommendations, especially books that I know have been personally meaningful and helpful to someone. So I will definitely check this out as far as a book recommendation that has helped me in business and leadership and also life is a book that's a pretty simple concept, but was a really fun read, and you may already know of it called Who Moved My Cheese

It was two people from CEB. I was working at CEB at the time when they released it, but that talks a lot about finding real value in what you're selling. The other one is The Servant Leader by Robert Neutral. And that's probably more of an internal look at serving. And I think from what you're describing, it's more of an external in sales, but maybe not. Maybe it's incorporating everything

"Crucial Conversations"

Point easy is so obviously when things are just getting bad, that's the time to really dig in, but not too early because you got to give some thought and not be all full of your emotions. So great book. Crucial Conversations. Great conversation about crucial topics right here. Thanks

I firmly believe that as a leader, you need to set the example and be the example for your team. And I think that really flows into the book. It's not about you as well where you're coming from a servant heart and from a place where it's an egalitarian kind of ability, a better approach that is giving to others just like the Go Giver book. So anyway, thanks, guys, for participating. Love to hear these comments

How to win friends and influence people

I am absolutely, absolutely loving this swell. I want to say thank you to all of you for all these wonderful recommendations out of not a lot, but a lot to a few businessish self help motivation type books. And I'm going to bring up one book, which is the gold standard, and that is how to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
