And my nature is to make my projects become so big in my mind that it's hard for me to do anything. It's a perfectionistic habit. You make everything out to be completed in a perfect way. In your mind, this is the way it should be. This is how it should be. This is what it should be. And then you paralyze yourself from doing anything because it seems so overwhelming and so daunting. I've experienced this in writing my book

I'm with you with the struggle on getting things done, not making everything a huge elephant. That elephant does not need to be trained today. All I need to do is do one step at a time in all of my life because I struggle with perfectionism. I want to think I don't. But Unfortunately I do

This combo pairs so nicely with something Adam Paul posted yesterday about obstacles, and I do think that the common theme here is the little bites. I think it's so great to bring it up because it's also a practice of savoring when to use the continue to use the food metaphor and biting and eating metaphor is that the ability to do things at a pace that honors being there when you're doing them, truly being present

It's just that the passion is making those two things. And really, when it comes comes to that, it's futile to make any effort because it's all about passion
