Alcohol the Acceptable Drug

And I really feel it's a daily pressure, it's a societal malaise. And I love a drink just as much as everybody else, but I watch my alcohol consumption closely because of my health. But it's such a pervasive drug. People are much more worried and affairs of things like marijuana or psilocybin, magic mushrooms. And these drugs are actually being used to help people to heal their health because they're anti inflammatory

There's so many preconceptions and prejudice, like you say, I've heard people who've done ketamine treatments for their depression, and it seems to work, and we're all just figuring it out. But, yeah, it is interesting that alcohol is the acceptable drug. I don't know what to do with that information. I don't know how we go about I don't know, talking about that more. But thank you. This is an important conversation to have

It's a shame the world's not more open about these things, but you're right, these conversations, hopefully people start talking about these things, it will move it forward and it will open up eventually. I started talking about psilocybin about five years ago and people are just talking about it now. So the fields of therapy and people that treat other people for PTSD, depression, anxiety, etc, and mental health issues, they're just starting to talk about it
