Again, word of caution, conditions apply. Not all movies are like that. And yes, it is super weird when you watch Hollywood films in theaters and you get an abrupt cut in between for a forced intermission. It's like the character is saying something and boom, the screen goes dark, the lights get switched on for the interval

And owing to the advent of OTT over the last two years because of the pandemic and suddenly the mainstream actors or commercial actors, they have a thing or two to worry about because bad content is getting rejected. As was the case all along. Not all along. There have been instances of well made meaningful movies which have not done well in the box office and there have been very bad stories, but have been blockbuster hits because of the star power
