Are you ready for an Introverted World?

article image placeholderPossible future?
Social distancing is the new love language. And for me it is amazing. It's like finally, people can respect you, but for others it can be terribly micromanaging and it can feel very shackles to them. They need to be able to do what they want to do outside with the public. But the pandemic is making sure that that doesn't exactly happen the way that you would like. At least not anymore

Have we needed to slow down as a species for quite some time? #pandemic #introvert

I really enjoy your voice and your thoughts are very clear. It's almost as if you're reading off of a script, which maybe you are, but I don't think you are. I think you just have a good feel for the dialogue in your mind or you've developed your voice and I myself feel I can be introverted or extroverted. I don't think anyone is really one or the other

I appreciate you bruh! 😆 @Aquarius3E

Aquarius Three e. Thank you so much for responding to this swell and no script at all. It's just natural, baby, but it didn't happen overnight. Took a look. Long time for me to get to this point where I can do it so freely off the top of the Dome. Great responses. And I also agree we have all the capabilities of extra version and introversion. Some of us just prefer one personality set over the other, but we still are capable of utilizing both

I am, are, are, are, are, are, are, are you ready for an introverted? Because I have some great anxiety around crowds. I am more happy when I'm by myself and I have a couple of good friends and that's all I need

@Waundurful

Not ready for an introverted world this thing of pandemic and 6ft distance and being by yourself. If you're single you're, you come home or you're home all day by yourself. You're working by yourself. This moment of independence is driving me crazy. I don't want to be introverted. Be with my family and with my friends, with my colleagues, with my students. I want to feel the energy from others. I work off of the energy of others

For me, social anxiety is the reason why I like to stay by myself because I have extreme social anxiety. And being by myself does not bother me. It's when I have to go into the crowds that really it just bugs me. So I would rather stay by myself. I'm comfortable by myself. And I'm okay with being by myself. Yes

The infinity loop of communication @Wuandurful @Treble8 @Aquarius3E @

Labels aside, some people, it's like amazing. Some people really have enjoyed covet because they've just it's their comfort zone. They nest for me. I love the serendipity of social environments that are in the real world. I crave it. So it's been a challenge beyond challenge to cheat myself of that these last year. If Introverts ruled the world, I think we would have quieter voices emerging, and we wouldn't even call them Introverts anymore. It would be a completely different context

Thanks @Treble8

We, in fact, are a social species and we definitely require the help of others to survive. So in the next coming years, I don't happen to see much change, more of adapting to this new way of life. But every time I look at my timeline, I can't help but notice some people are back to their normal selves going to parties. No masks are in sight. Yeah, scary times for sure. Thank you so much for your response

The Real World seems to be changing before our very eyes. @DBPardes

I think of the psychological effects this has had within almost a year to the date. Right. It's been a year now since we've been living in this new reality. The new real. Right. And it's interesting in the sense that not everyone is fully on board with it. There's been this strange but odd phenomena of people depicting buying into the pandemic, as they call it as a fallacy that they will not accept

Helping others. @Joylove

I can remember around the time when AIDS had broke out, there was so much blame to be tossed around. Was it caused from homosexuals? When people were to be contracted with the HIV, they didn't even want to touch something that they touched. But there wasn't this sort of paranoia that we have with this COVID-19. Obviously it's not sexually transmitted

I think as this continues, maybe we won't be face to face as much. But we will certainly be more involved, more social and more interactive than before

And I look forward to going to the movies with you, average Joe, with you sitting next to me in your I don't know, Wonder Woman Avatar suit. It's crazy. It's a crazy, crazy thing. Grateful to be here and to be connecting with you guys. But you're right. This is my mind is spinning. Thank you

🤝 @AverageJoe

You definitely sales pitch was because I was thinking of how fun that could be as well, and that's the interesting thing also is the fun capabilities this augments of reality and these virtual reality simulations can provide amongst others. So in a way, we're still extroverted as we always have been. But maybe the blurring and merging of these worlds is for the betterment of mankind. Maybe we sadly needed these moments of tragedy of a virus that has taken a lot of lives for us to get closer together

@Wuandurful, @AverageJoe lots of thoughts

I've been chewed out. Oh, you want to just be by yourself? Blah blah blah. And I've been marked for it. And now, yes, it is my time to say yes, this is my world. I can be by myself and celebrate it for it. But I guess I'd rather use some empathy on that scale there because it can get serious for some people. And the last thing I will say is if you have not read the book. Quiet

Social energy and information processing. @bookishpodcast

Actually, I thought there was a lot of great points in there and a lot of great tips for introverts to operate in an extroverted world, and I feel this is something I want to do down the line in terms of content building content, an introvert's guide to building content, to relate to others, and also to relate to the extroverts, because when you get in the world of content creation, it is very much dominated by extroverts

Okay. I do not know about this MBTI community, so I am clueless about that. I got the information out of the book Quiet because it does mention those people. I mean, OK, Steve Jobs, I don't know member for sure, but I know Barack Obama and Bill Gates were definitely mentioned as introverts in the book quiet. And actually, as I'm listening to your swell, I Googled and I looked up Barack Obama introvert, and then again, even what's his name?

So I was wrong about it. There is no defined. This is what he is. We do not have that test result, but I guess if one community thinks he's an extrovert, I'm going to go with the introverted thought because I don't know. I just feel like Barack Obama is introverted. Here's this other article, but no matter where you read it, it's basically where you get your energy

I appreciate your enthusiasm @bookishpodcast

Yes, Shanaj, this gives me good opportunity to talk about this. I think I'm going to talk about it later on tonight or tomorrow about the introduction into MBTI as well as Typology as well as youngie in psychology, because it's a lot of different things. And I will let you in on how I know from the many interviews I've seen of Steve Jobs as well as Bill Gates and Barack Obama, that these are extroverted leading people. They lead with the extroverted function
