You know, I feel like this should be a public service announcement because I've just seen too many people get burned by this. And the Miranda rights are right there. They say it. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. And I've seen people that are completely innocent of everything, you know, describe a situation to law enforcement

But, yeah, you have to be very careful as a detective and how you handle a suspect, because you can lie to the suspect would be suspect, among other things.
