So, I cancelled Apple Music.
And I'm not talking about music videos. Those that are in the know know that YouTube has everything in regards to music. A lot of times they have songs that Apple music doesn't have due to writes and maybe sample clearances. And whatnot milk Bone? What's the song from Milk Bone? Keep it real. If you try to search for Milk Bone, milk Bone is a rapper from the 90s 1st off hip hop rapper from the 90s East Coast rapper

Like me and my friend were chatting and we were listening to an album. It was his album hit, his album. He makes music. He was telling me about the tracks as I was playing them. I was playing them. And then he said, let's go back and I just go back. And then I said, hey, listen to this and I put a track on it. It was in his house that's so cool to me

So recently. Actually, my sister was not one of the people that I shared it to. I did actually offer her it by the time she turned it down. So I gave it to my nephew, the Spotlight, a five family thing. But just recently, my sister, I've talked to her and I was telling her about this feature. She thought about it, like, the sharing feature. She said, yeah, I'm going to get it. So she just bought it

And I was like, oh, yeah, I don't care to do that. Music for me is like, very personal. I have no instinctual need to share it with people right away, or if ever, to be honest with you. So I can see why. And then you said too. You had your own music collection to begin with, whereas for me, it's like physical media

You wouldn't know any new artists or anything, even though you're an avid fan of music, which is cool. But for me, most of the music I listen to is what I haven't heard before, especially on my IG stories. I put people onto a lot of music, a lot of good music because it's stuff I never heard either. We're all listening to it for the first time. So that is more interesting to me than listening to an old album

But interesting. Yes. You mentioned a couple of things. I didn't listen to vinyl for years, and then I popped around to a friend of mine who only listens to vinyl. He doesn't have any digital stuff at all. He doesn't touch digital. And this guy likes his music, and he's got a great system

So I would hear him playing all his hiphop in the 80s and early 90s. I was more into new Jack swing and hip hop. Was I'd go to clubs. And back then it would be like a night in the club and it'd be a black night. And they would play New Jack swing from midnight live music up until midnight. Then New Jack swing from about midnight until three. And then 03:00, the hip hop would come on

And I shared my country playlist with them, and they loved it. Yeah. Sometimes I even watched the grand old Opry live. Man, have you ever watched that? I don't know if you like country. The other day, I was watching that while I was watching that no audience. They're just streaming, so, yeah, I'm going to share some black coffee with you. Do you like house if you do anyhow. So there was one thing you got wrong
Mark Francis Rahaman
@MarkR · 0:10
Okay. I'm going to share some black coffee here with you, man. Tell me if you like this. You're right. I just couldn't resist it, man

But yeah, if you have any hip hop, you think I would like new stuff? Share it, man. I'll look it up on YouTube, on YouTube, on Spotify and check it out

And you get a lot of cool people down there in different parts of Hackney or definitely shortage. So all the music comes from all the young people go, and some people don't like it at all. Some people love it, but it's got a big music scene and NTS started in Hackney man. So be interested to see you can listen to that. You can just click on it and listen to it as you get on that

Maybe I look at technology as that energy for me, but even then, I don't think I associate things with that. Like how you do in, like, live music. I've only went to one live concert or two. I think when I was a kid and it's just something I don't care for. I'm just as easily fine listening to it on headphones or my phone speaker. I'm not an audio file. Audio snob

House music is huge there, but you sometimes get these influences, and it's a mysterious island. It's beautiful. It's got great, different restaurants and clubs and cliffs. The sound of the island is house music. So going there for so long, you kind of find this because there's so many DJs and so many types of music that you love that you could like or follow. You find places that play certain things or you go to places that you like

So I think for me, I can't say this totally is how it is for most introverts. But for me, music is something I personalize. It's not something I extrovert, but when it comes to making music, I do, of course, for people to hear it. But making the music part of the joy is that spending hours trying to perfect a certain sound and rhythm and cadence and melody. And that's the fun part sometimes
