Both. @FryedOreo

So I would say both. I feel pretty confident about just saying both. And that's not for and against thing like we need honesty, whether we appreciate it or not in a moment. Alright. Peace

But the freedom after being honest is just on a different level after you tell something that is painful, but something you've been holding in for so long. The freedom you get is crazy. I think it's important to be honest with ourselves and the people we love and the people around us, but sometimes it can get out of hand. So I don't really know how to answer your question right now clearly, but my answer is both

Deception is human-like. @realbriggster

And I think what we identify as real, quote, unquote being real is not really that for we are being real even when we are being dishonest. I think this notion of being real has really been a construct and a concept used by deceptive people in order to gain your trust quickly, without needing to get to know you for so many years and be invited to your wedding, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera

Yes @theertha , so many layers.

The thank you so much for responding to the swell. Yes, honesty has many forms, so it ultimately is a difficult thing to answer, because sometimes honesty is good, but there are other times where honesty is bad. So could it be that honesty on its own is unbiased, but it is through the receiver or I'm sorry, not the receiver. But I guess maybe the receiver is perhaps the person who delivers honesty or doesn't is the component that decides what dynamic that will play

I mean, sometimes you have to kind of not see it, but for the most part, if someone says something that I think is dishonest or it doesn't make sense, then I will offer them another question to see if they really meant what they said. But yeah, I don't know. Honesty is just one of those things that's just heartfelt. I'm going to tell you the truth here

Unbridled Truths @LadyO

I think in our survival as social beings, it used to be in the wilderness. We physically had to survive. Danger loomed every corner and our next meal. We didn't know it was not expected. But now we've gotten to a point where meals are plentiful. And although danger still looms around every corner, life expectancy is not 40 years old or 30 years old as it was a long time ago. So now socially we've incorporated these elements of survival
