How do you view "TV?"

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
Do you have the terrestrial connection, the cable box, and you use a remote to turn channels? Do you stream? I'm a streaming guy. Everything I do is streaming. I don't watch live television anymore. I haven't watched live television in probably three or four years. Something like that every now and then at work, they'll have it on. But I don't really watch live television. But I'm curious, what is your method?

Youtube and not else much

And I think I looked at the analytics because I do believe YouTube has analytics, and I'm watching maybe around one to 2 hours of videos a day. The majority of the content that I consume is how to and skill based learning programs where if I want to learn something or figure out how to do something, I do that I don't really watch television shows anymore. I think I've gotten to a point, and I'm not sure if anybody else feels the same way

I watch CNN and MSNBC and CSPAN, so I do watch those. But I agree with professor. I think that TV shows are just rehashed ideas, and there's nothing new, original, but I don't know because I don't watch a lot of TV shows per se, and I don't watch sports, but wanting to cut the cord when Internet is available. That's not the same price as Bundling. Everything all right. Take care. Cheers

It's probably one of my favorite services that I have. Initially, I was like, 1599 for it is kind of a joke, but honestly, I use it so much, and I like that there are no ads, so I'll give a special shout out for that. It's funny, though, because I do have cable. Still, I think a lot of that is down to the fact that my family loves watching sports

Hi, my family is probably a hybrid in the sense that we do watch live TV, but it is through YouTube TV on our TV. But yes, we're using remote to be able to change the channels. But we DVR are a lot of things. So we see maybe one or two shows and maybe the news live and sports live. But otherwise, yes, we're a streaming family too. And I feel ashamed that we have every streaming channel under the sun

"Television" seems so outdated of a term.

I think there are some bad shows that kind of try to copy other things, but I think there are good shows that in spite of there being no new original ideas under the Sun, I don't think that's the aspiration that you want to go for and you will find the stuff that is the legendary and iconic and greatest stuff is reiterations of stuff that was done before it. It just did it in such a cool way that was new to the audience, the majority audience

@FryedOreo I’m getting rid of my 📺

So I like regular TV still, like, Star Trek. Discovery is a show I watch on there and then, like, regular TV shows I like to watch. So I have those. And then there are shows that are attached to Hulu. Hulu makes shows and like, prime and stuff like that. Prime is the one thing I have that I probably will always keep. And then I have Showtime attached to that. And then I switch up when it's a show

Hey, Dewuan, I thought of a couple TV shows that I actually watch that are not on YouTube that are on regular. They're on Netflix. Or my cats are going crazy. Netflix or Hulu or something like that. My wife keeps track of all the streaming services. I don't know where to find the shows to watch, but my wife controls the remote. She watches way more TV than I do, but I thought I have a couple of shows. Only murders in the building

Hello. Hi. According to my style, in India we watch TV as the terrestrial one along with OTT. So we have both available and we're using both right now. We prefer OTT of course and it hasn't affected much how much we watch the TV. But yes, it has given us great choice and whatever we watch we enjoy. So that is helpful. But overall I would say the net has been a decrease in the watch time
