It's always awkward when you tell people that you're going on vacation because they generally think you're going to travel somewhere. And I usually joke. Yeah, I'm traveling from my living room to my bedroom as well as my dining room and kitchen. It's a lot of places and destinations that are exciting and everyone would love and enjoy, but most people don't understand or appreciate staycations. Well, at least until these times

You know, Dewuan, I'm going to be listening to you and others that come on here that are successful at this because I'm like your friend. I am not successful at staycations. I work from home and I just get into this routine and then I end up up working. And it's just very tough to shake. And it's easier said than done. Right? You say, well, I'm just not going to do any work

So it's natural for me, in a way, matter of fact, when I leave the job, it's pretty much like I'm off of the job, so I really am not thinking too much about it until I'm actually there. And in the moment with it and things like that, anybody else. It should be interesting to hear what they have to say, especially people who are forced to work at home as I've been working. Nothing's changed

So if I can just get it a little bit done, then I can come back fresh from the vacation. Terrible way to think of it totally ruins a vacation. But then I started thinking about it. And now I know why I really don't do staycations. Well, is I start to notice things around the home that I wouldn't have noticed if I was working and just in and out, I started noticing things like, Does the toilet always flush this slow?

I mean, there's always more stuff I can do, but yeah, I actually have two staycation days coming up. As a matter of fact, my birthday is going to be on November 9 on Monday. So I took that day off as well as took off Sunday, November 8 because I work Sunday through Thursday. So what was the last thing you did on your vacation? I'm just curious what was the last thing you did? And did you enjoy yourself?

So I'd say that was the last real, quote, vacation. I'll take long weekends every once in awhile around and just maybe take half a day on Friday, and that usually is good enough for me. I don't need too much more. And like you said, two days that you're taking off, I'd ask back to you

You know, Phil, now that you mention it, I don't think it's been quite a while since I've taken a long vacation. I'm like you. I need a long weekend or two, and I'll be fine. That's more than enough because I get bored. Honestly, unless I'm taking a vacation in lieu of doing some activity, if I'm just left to my own devices, I'm just going to binge watch shows all day
