You. Good afternoon, Dewuan, and thanks for the invite for this particular swell cast. This seems to be my forte and right up my alley, as they say. What is real music to me? Anything that's made by human hands with it instruments, wooden, steel, brass instruments, shells, drum shells. I like human people in a big orchestra. I like human people playing a rock and roll, playing a blues, playing a country

I've kind of slowly appreciated live performances now, but music for me has always been a digital experience, whether that was listening to some of my greatest musical talents out there or making music myself. I don't own one wooden instrument and I really don't have a desire to. That's just not my thing. But I give major props to those such as yourself that can perfect the art of doing it in a human way

Let's put like that it's a preference of who I am, that I prefer human hands on instruments and producing live. And I get what you're saying about when certain certain players I mean, I get that, too. I've seen a lot of concerts to where you want to hear how it sound on the record. And they get in the groove and he start flipping things and start adding things and start going a complete different direction of what the song originally came from

Well, but I can see how that can become a social thing, music. But I have no music to recommend you to show you where I'm coming from. I don't really care about that. I am more interested in a person's thoughts on music. And even that can be a struggle, right, to keep things in a talking standpoint about music

Now, some may disagree with this, but you can do music without harmony. I know that sounds crazy, right? I know it's a bit wild sounding, but I believe that there's not always a need to have these tones and notes for a song that is needed to be made. You can just have rhythm to it. All you need is melody. And if it can get you the move, man, that's rhythm right there. Like, come on

So it has meant different things to me over time, but it's done that with everyone else as well. But yeah, I don't know if I can definitively say what is real music and what is not. Because if you hear it and you feel something, I think it's music all the same

So I was trying to wrap my head around what is the definition of real music? And I said, well, let's flip it and ask the opposite question. What is artificial music? I thought, okay, artificial music could be those Tinny Midi files that are playing on YouTube as backing tracks for karaoke. Those are terrible, terrible, terrible quality music. But it's still music. It's still real

Cool, creative. Yeah. Tim, I invited you here because I know you have a deep, passionate relationship with music, and you often host Saturday sing alongs, right? I think that's what it's called. Right. So I was just curious as to what your thoughts were on with real music, because we almost have different generations right. Of music, where for me, the instrument may not be wooden, but it does come from a wooden instrument. It's really all music
